With their husbands away, old friends Jane and Julia hope to play.  Each ha received a postcard announcing the imminent arrival of the 'one great passion' of their youth - Maurice.  They await his arrival together while their husbands are away with their great passion, golf.  Fueled by champagne and oysters, the girls go wild astheir friendship melts down under the heat of anticipation.  Of course, Maurice does turn up - and so do the husbands!  Fallen Angels is one of Noel Coward's fizziest and funniest plays, about nothing more than fun, folly and friendship.
