Communion
written and directed Daniel MacIvorWorld Premiere
Lida has a secret. When her psychotherapist does the unthinkable and offers concrete advice, Lida acts on it – before it’s too late. Three women reveal their hidden strengths, in this surprisingly funny play about motherhood, love, God, and the meaning of life.
Daniel MacIvor is Tarragon’s newest playwright-in-residence and winner of the 2008 Siminovitch Prize. He is one of Canada’s most prolific and acclaimed playwrights; hits include A Beautiful View, How It Works and his solo shows House, Monster and Here Lies Henry.
