This favourite Robert Munsch tale about appearances and self-worth will be presented in this wonderful musical comedy adaptation, which is teamed with another comic Munsch story, 50 Below Zero, about a boy and his sleepwalking father.

Solar Stage Children’s Theatre is located in the brownstone condominium at 100 Upper Madison Ave. on the concourse level. We are adjacent to 4950 Yonge St., The Madison Centre (our mailing address).  

PARKING INFO: While traveling on Yonge St, turn WEST onto a small street called Upper Madison Avenue. There is an entrance straight ahead into the Madison Centre underground parking lot. This is a PAID parking lot.  There is also PAID street parking available. An underground parking lot is accessible from Beecroft St., which runs parallel to Yonge St. just WEST of Yonge. PAID parking is also available on nearby side streets.  

TTC INFO: The closest station is Sheppard Station on the Yonge Line. Monday through Saturday, the Madison Centre is accessible via an underground tunnel. To access this tunnel, exit Sheppard Station through the SHEPPARD CENTRE exit. Walk through the mall, and turn LEFT at the FOOD COURT. Exit the building and pass the KEG on your RIGHT. You will see a sign that says “Tunnel to Madison Centre and Federal Building”. Take this tunnel all the way through and it will lead you to the Madison Centre. You will pass a HAIR SALON on your LEFT and a DRUXY'S on your right. We are on the LEFT right next to the elevator.  

On Sundays, exit Sheppard Station out the HARLANDALE AVE exit. Turn LEFT and walk along Yonge St until you get to the Second Cup Coffee Shop. Right before the Second Cup, look to your LEFT. The building you see is the Madison Centre. Enter through the glass door at the south end of the condo building.  Take the stairs or the elevator down to the Concourse level and you will see us on the RIGHT.
